The 14th annual GNU Radio Conference takes place in September and you can participate in person (Knoxville, Tennessee) or online. GRCon, the yearly conference for the GNU Radio project, has become a leading event in the software radio industry and our Analog Devices (ADI) team is especially eager to meet you to discuss innovations that focus on enhancing radar capabilities, exploring open-source solutions, and accelerating development. Find the ADI booth (#13) to get hands-on with Jupiter (newest 6 GHz SDR), Phaser (8-channel phased array exploration platform), and Apollo Triton (28 GSPS, 4 channels). Jon Kraft | Senior Principal Engineer
Field Applications Engineer (FAE) Jon is a seasoned professional at Analog Devices with extensive experience in high-frequency analog design. As a Field Applications Engineer (FAE), he specializes in RF & microwave technologies, providing expert guidance on innovative solutions for complex communication systems. With a background in electrical engineering and a passion for advancing cutting-edge technology, Jon plays a crucial role in supporting customers and driving the development of next-generation RF products. Michael Hennerich | ADI Fellow
Embedded System Architect
Michael joined ADI in 2004 as a systems and applications design engineer. Over the years, he has worked on various DSP/FPGA and embedded processor-based applications and reference designs. Currently, Michael serves as an embedded system architect and open-source software engineering director in the Software & Security Group (SSG) in Munich, Germany. In this role, he leads one of ADI’s device driver and kernel development teams, focusing on developing device drivers for a wide range of mixed-signal IC products and HDL interface cores. In 2024, Michael was appointed ADI Fellow. He holds an M.Sc. degree in computer engineering and a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in electronics and information technologies from Reutlingen University.
